Product: 15s du2060tx. I have been trying to boot from USB drive , but in BIOS options screen there is no Legacy support and Legacy boot order. Tried disabling the Secure boot and moved USB flash drive/ USB hard disk to top position , but unable to find the bootable USB drive in boot screen when pressed F9. Need help !
By pressing F12, two options appear as UeFI boot devices: 1- Windows boot manager, 2- UEFI hard drive, by pressing both option the Windows 10 is started. I've tried to installed it from USB key but impossible to boot from it. I know I've to use Legacy option but I don't see where is the option to activate the Legacy Boot. There is only UEFI option. When I set it in UEFI mode my SSD isn't listed. (Either with secure boot On or Off) When I'm in Legacy, it doesn't find a bootable drive. I can only boot when I set it in Legacy and then manually start the Windows Boot Manager from the boot menu when you press f12. Once I'm booted I CAN see my drive listed on diskpart in cmd.
Solution. #2. first thing i would attempt, possibly again for you, is; formatting both drives, remove the HD, determine if your laptop has a specific OS drive location (some have had auto-boot priority set to a certain SATA port), connect the SSD to the needed SATA port, perform a fresh install to the SSD.

Modern PCs often now come without Legacy (or CSM) boot options and only have UEFI. Also, we do not provide support for Linux, installation or booting. So you will need to contact the support
